For this print I drew the image directly onto a lithographic stone and printed the darkest layer that way. Stone lithography is an amazingly direct and spontaneous technique that gave us the looseness of the Toulouse Lautrec posters, for example.
I then added 3 layers of screenprint to give it its moody atmosphere. The white flame, is the colour of the paper left untouched.
