Guardian bird (or whatever name you choose for the wee creature) is a hand built clay sculpture.
It is unglazed and has been fired at high temperature. It is 20 x 16 x 14 cm.
The clay is nicely speckled which adds to its tactile finish.

I love improvising with clay and this is how this wee guardian bird appeared one Tuesday evening, inspired by tough birds and medieval knights .
It is a unique piece, and one that has your back.

One of guardian bird's back feathers broke during firing. The mend is nearly invisible, and Guardian bird isn't at all weakened by this mild injury. Nevertheless, this is why it is available at a discounted price.

It will come to you very carefully packaged in a box full of soft things to protect it.
